About Eric Yin Leung Lo

Academic background

I had an interdisciplinary education in Public Administration as well as Welfare Studies in Hong Kong and Sweden. Since the autumn 2023, I have started my doctoral studies at the department.

  • BA. (honours) in Social Policy and Administration, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (2019)
  • MSc. in Welfare Policies and Management, Lund University (2022)

Research interests and doctoral project

My research interests stretch from welfare policies to policy translation, also I am interested in Neo-marxist theories.

My doctoral project "Policy Translation in National Homeless Policy – A Swedish case study" (working title) is about the policy implementation process of the Swedish national homeless strategies 2022-2026. Through interviews and document analysis, I intend to investigate how the national strategy is translated to the street-level administration and the local homeless policies in Gothenburg, Sweden.
