About Eli Hedman
I am a doctoral student in linguistics with an interest in how neurological diseases affect language and communication. My research focuses on how Parkinson’s disease impacts language functions and everyday conversation. Alongside my doctoral studies at the University of Gothenburg, I work as a speech-language pathologist at the neurology clinic at Angereds närsjukhus, where I see adults with speech, voice, language, and/or swallowing difficulties resulting from neurological disease or injury.
