This event is co-organised by BECC, FRAM and GGBC

The aim of the workshop is to create interest in the interface between chemical pollution and biodiversity, identify possible areas of overlap across research environments and disciplines, and see what kinds of future activities may emerge from discussion. Possible future directions could include informal networking, thematic seminars, a white paper or synthesis note, pilot studies, student activities, stakeholder dialogues, or joint funding applications.

Please feel free to register although not able to participate these day and the organising group are welcoming you to suggest themes, issues or research questions that you think would be valuable to discuss at the workshop. Please note that suggested themes should have a clear link to both chemical pollution and biodiversity. The planning group will use the input received to develop the workshop agenda.

You are also asked to fill out a short bio and information about your relevant expertise. This will help the organising group to map possible synergies and overlaps between participants and facilitate matching and dialogue during the workshop.

We are aiming for 50 participants, with a mix of researchers from BECC, FRAM and GGBC, and relevant adjacent expertise where this adds value to the workshop discussions.

The planning group: Daniel Slunge, Maj Rundlöf, Julia Osterman, Natália Corcoll Cornet, Ingela Dahllöf, Jenny Egardt, Kate Evans and Pierre Schneiter
