She holds a bachelor’s degree in European Law from Maastricht University, where she also pursued a minor in Development Studies at the University of Amsterdam, and a master’s degree in International Affairs with a specialization in Human Rights and Governance from the Hertie School in Berlin. Diana has developed expertise in human rights law, teaching a bachelor-level course at Maastricht University and contributing to the Centre for Fundamental Rights at the Hertie School as a research assistant.
