CARe researchers contribute to new Open Access book on the ethics of drug resistance
A new book on the ethics of drug resistance in a global perspective has been published by the leading science publisher Springer/Nature.
A new book on the ethics of drug resistance in a global perspective has been published by the leading science publisher Springer/Nature.
It is fully ”open access”, allowing anyone to read and download all chapters. The book offers 26 independent chapters on a broad range of issues by leading scholars in the field of bioethics, public health ethics and global health policy. Co-edited by CARe advisory board member Michael Selgelid, it also features a chapter by CARe researchers Niels Nijsingh, Christian Munthe, Karl de Fine Licht and Joakim Larsson on how to apply precautionary reasoning in the evaluation of interventions to control antibiotic resistance. This chapter presents a general analytic framework which is used in several other research articles by the CARe ethics team, and now available for anyone to apply.
