Digital konstruktion
Om utbildningen
The course is intended to give fundamental knowledge about design, implementation, and optimization of combinatorial and sequential digital circuits. It further presents the technologies used for implementing such circuits. As part of the course, the students will be introduced to modern computer-based design tools (CAD), and learn the basics of a hardware description language. More precisely, the course contents are the following:
- Boolean Algebra and logic minimization
- Arithmetic Units
- Memory
Behörigheter och urval
Behörighet
För att vara behörig till kursen ska studenter ha avklarat kurser motsvarande 60 hp inom ämnet datavetenskap, inklusive kursen DIT791 Grundläggande datorteknik (eller motsvarande).
Följande kunskapsnivå i Engelska krävs: Engelska 6/Engelska nivå 2 eller motsvarande från ett erkänt internationellt test, t.ex. TOEFL, IELTS.
