Roman Martin is an associate professor (Swedish: docent) in economic geography at the Department of Business Administration, University of Gothenburg. He holds a PhD degree in social and economic geography from Lund University (2012). His research deals with the economic geography of innovation, with particular focus on innovation-based regional development, regional innovation systems and policy, clusters and cluster policy, as well as innovation and knowledge networks.
