The World Health Summit in Berlin gathers many of the top leaders of the world to discuss urgent global health challenges and solutions.
This year, the summit is held online and available for anyone to follow. Antibiotic resistance is of course on the agenda. In a session led by the World Health Organization on Sunday at 11.00 Swedish time, Professor Joakim Larsson will be one of the panelist discussing antibiotic manufacturing. The panel discussion will be about both pollution challenges and the vulnerability in the supply chains. The fierce price pressure on medicines is contributes to both challenges, and greater transparency can be part of their solution!
