Trauma-informed legal services for victims of human trafficking
The seminar addresses the value of being trauma-informed in the provision of legal services and gives practical advice on how to best communicate complex information to traumatized victims.
Mrs Shea M. Rhodes, former prosecutor in Philadeliphia and Director and Co-Founder Villanova Law Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation, will give a seminar about being trauma-informed in the provision of legal services, giving practical advice on how to best communicate complex information to traumatized victims. Ms Lovisa Landälv, coordinator for Safe Havens Trafficking Center in Stockholm, will together with Mrs Rhodes present a case from Safe Havens giving a Swedish perspective on the issue. The seminar will be moderated by professor Ester Herlin-Karnell, Dept. of Law, University of Gothenburg.
