"Life in the machine" is the result of a collaboration between students from the 3rd year improvisation bachelor, the 3rd year composition bachelor and the composition masters program.
Together we have written 60 minutes of continuous music. In that hour we explore themes of improvisation and composed music, acoustic sounds and digital, large and small ensembles and how the different contexts affect the players.
Inside the machine there is life. Ever changing. Constantly evolving.

Andreas Saag
Andreas Saag is a composer, artist, DJ and producer. His genre is a hybrid between electronic music, folk music, cinematic sounds and jazz.
Currently he's mixing techno, folk music, cinematic scores and string quartet in his artist project Saagan. These influences can also be heard whenever Andreas composes for games, films or TV.
Andreas is the co-founder and lead of the experimental art gathering The Glade where Nordic folk musicians, electronic artists, opera singers, actors and DJ's come together to create a secret folklore rave deep in the Swedish forest.

Dinner at Michael's
”Dinner at Michael’s” is a new project created by the musicians Edvin Ringkvist and Lukas Axelsson. Acoustic guitar, fretless electric bass and vocal harmonies lay the foundation of their sound. Together they create a landscape of sound where the guitar and bass merge as one while leaving space for warm harmonies and groovy rhythms. Their songs have a melancholic core mixed together with playful melodies and lyrics. They are currently working on their debut-album which you will hear parts of during the Sirénfestival.
