2026 is the year that Retfærd turns 50. Join us in celebrating this milestone at the conference "RETFÆRD at 50! Taking Stock, Moving Forward”. The conference will take place on 2-3 November 2026 at the Department of Law at the School of Business, Economics and Law at Gothenburg University in Göteborg, Sweden.
Building on decades of critical legal scholarship in the Nordics, this conference seeks to move beyond reflection, creating a forum where critical legal scholarship acts in the present and charts new directions for the future. By convening this conference, we aim to advance the practice of critical legal scholarship in the Nordics and beyond, emphasizing engagement, experimentation, and the work yet to be done. We invite submissions that engage critically with legal scholarships in the Nordic context, extending its insights and opening new directions for research and debate.
The conference is free of charge. Travel and accommodation is not covered.
