Desmond Johnson, researcher at Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at University of Lund, visits the law department and gives a presentation of his research on blockchain-based voting in the US and the EU constitutional orders. The research is about digital constitutionalism and how blockchain voting can transform the political process. This raises several interesting questions on democracy, the right to vote, and social inequality in the US and the EU.
