About Markus Saarijärvi
Markus Saarijärvi is a doctoral student and registered nurse with a specialist degree in critical care nursing. His PhD thesis is within the STEPSTONES project (Swedish Transition Effects Project Supporting Teenagers with chrONic mEdical conditionS) focusing on process evaluation and health economic analysis of a person-centered transition program for adolescents with chronic conditions. His PhD fellowship is designed as a double degree between Sahlgrenska Academy and KU Leuven, Belgium which entitles a double PhD degree.
Markus is part of the research group “Health Care Transition Research Group”.
