About Mikael Svensson

Professor of Applied Health Economics and Deputy Head of the School of Public Health and Community Medicine.

Research areas 

  • Economic evaluation of health care interventions (cost-effectiveness analysis, etc.) 
  • Healthcare policy

Teaching 

  • Health economics and health economic methods on the Master's Programme in Public Health, as well as within doctoral-level courses. 
  • I am also involved in continuing professional education aimed at both the healthcare sector and the pharmaceutical industry.
