Konstantina är biträdande universitetslektor i Industriell och finansiell ekonomi & logistik vid Göteborgs universitet. År 2021 anslöt hon som postdoktor.
Konstantinas forskningsområden är city logistics, urbana godstransporter, affärsmodeller, business model canvas och affärscases av urban frakt samt automatiseringsprocessen av urbana fraktleveranser och e-handel.
Konstantina har publicerat sitt arbete i ett flertal akademiska tidskrifter och konferenspublikationer. Hon har också presenterat sitt arbete vid ett flertal akademiska konferenser. Konstantina är även recensent för ett antal akademiska tidskrifter och har tilldelats titeln exceptionell recensent av Elsevier.
Konstantina är medlem i:
- Urban Freight Platform ett initiativ från Göteborgs universitet och Chalmers som stöds av Volvo Research Education Foundations (VREF) och Northern LEAD.
- Northern LEAD, ett logistikkompetenscentrum bildat av Chalmers tekniska högskola och Göteborgs universitet i samarbete med Logistik- och transportsällskapet LTS.
- Aurora, ett forskningsnätverk och initiativ från Göteborgs universitet, Chalmers, University of Washington, SINTEF och NTNU.
- Central London Freight Quality Partnership.
Konstantina försvarade sin doktorsexamen. avhandling i maj 2020 vid Lunds universitet med titeln "Towards a Business Model for Viable City Logistics Initiatives: The role of financial continuity, externalities and stakeholders". Konstantina har även en masterexamen i nationalekonomi från Umeå universitet och en kandidatexamen i internationell ekonomi och affärsrelationer från Democritus University. Hon kommer ursprungligen från Grekland.
