Research group
Short description
Physiotherapy encompasses knowledge of the human being as a physical, psychological, social and existential whole in a health perspective. At its core is understanding the body, its movement and function, and interaction with others and the environment.
Our research
A common goal for research at the Physiotherapy Unit is to increase knowledge about how physical activity and exercise can be used to improve health and physical/psychological function in people with various types of limitations, for example as a result of illness.
