The Department conducts research and education in the fields of Comparative Literature, History of Ideas and Science, Religious Studies and Theology, Theatre Studies and Digital Humanities.

The Department conducts research and education in the fields of Comparative Literature, History of Ideas and Science, Religious Studies and Theology, Theatre Studies and Digital Humanities.

The Department offers courses in History of Ideas as well as Religious studies and Theology at the advanced level (Second Cycle) in English, as well as an international Master of Theology programme.

In Swedish, the department offers a Master’s programme in Critical Studies, a Master's programme in Digital Humanities, a Bachelor’s programme in Comparative Literature with a specialisation in Editorial Practice, a Bachelor’s programme in Theology, and teacher education in Swedish and Religious Studies.
