Welcome to the School of Excellence in Arctic and Antarctic Learning, SEAL! We educate the next generation of researchers who will advance polar research in Sweden and internationally. SEAL addresses the complex challenges of the polar regions with collective expertise across subject boundaries. We offer an internationally competitive, field-based research school with state of the art infrastructure and integrated courses, under the supervision of leading national and international polar researchers. SEAL the entire spectrum of polar expertise – from glaciology, oceanography and climate modeling, to radar, technology, social sciences, and indigenous perspectives.
