About us

The Academy of Music and Drama educates the musicians, composers, music, dance and drama teachers, musical theatre and performance artists, opera singers and actors of the future. The breadth of our programs creates unique opportunities for collaboration across subject areas and genres. Here, you will meet both lecturers and visiting lecturers with current experience of professional artistic and pedagogical practice. The Academy of Music and Drama is one of two departments within the Artistic Faculty at the University of Gothenburg, where we also conduct research and doctoral education across a number of different fields.
