The course focuses on a specific area of linguistics and enables students to strengthen their knowledge of current theoretical research in topics relevant to African linguistics.

About

The course gives you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge within selected areas of linguistics in order to lay a theoretical basis for future independent work. Course content and reading lists will therefore, as far as possible, be adapted to your linguistic profile.

Prerequisites and selection

Requirements

The entry requirements are (A) a completed B.A. degree, including an independent project/essay of at least 15 credits; (B) 30 higher education credits in any language subject, as part of the B.A. degree or as an addition to it; (C) English 6/IELTS 6.5/TOEFL 580, required in all parts, or the equivalent.

Selection

Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 165 credits.
