Short description

The research group consists of around thirty researchers at the University of Gothenburg, Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the Swedish National Board of Forensic Medicine, and is part of the Centre for Ethics, Law and Mental Health (CELAM). Our focus is on clinical and interdisciplinary forensic psychiatric research. Currently, projects are underway to improve forensic psychiatric care and forensic psychiatric examination practices. Our research concerns violence prevention, person-centred care, patients' needs for care and support, substance use treatment, medication treatment, anticholinergic load, brain health, neuropsychology, metabolic syndrome and decision-making.
