BioMArCHER Research-Based Learning Workshop 2026

Research

Explore how chemical analysis and advanced imaging techniques contribute to research on bones, teeth and other mineralised tissues. This two-day workshop brings together researchers, students and industry partners to exchange knowledge and explore applications in medicine, archaeology and cultural heritage.

If you wish to attend the presentations you are welcome to do so. Contact Furqan Ali Shah to submit your interest.
Organizer
BioMarCHER, EUTOPIA Connected Community

The workshop is organised by Biomineralization in Medicine, Archaeology, and Cultural Heritage (BioMArCHER), an interdisciplinary research collaboration bringing together expertise from several European universities within the EUTOPIA network.

The program focuses on chemical analysis, including spectroscopy, isotope analysis, bone biomaterials and ancient DNA. And also imaging techniques, such as micro-CT, microscopy and their applications in archaeology, forensic anthropology and bone research.
