Collaboration
Collaboration is a significant part of the Segerstedt Institute’s activities. Through partnerships with professionals, municipalities, government agencies, civil society organizations, other universities, and international actors, we bridge the gap between research and practice.
Our collaborations take various forms and evolve based on current needs. For example, this may involve developing and evaluating preventive measures, providing education and continuing professional development for practitioners, offering research-based guidance, or creating forums for the exchange of knowledge and experience. We also collaborate on research and development projects with other universities and civil society organizations.
Through collaboration, the institute gains insight into the issues and challenges that practitioners face, while research-based knowledge can help develop organizations and their working methods. In this way, collaboration is one of the institute’s methods for translating practical and research-based knowledge into benefits for both the institute and our partners, with the aim of contributing to a more democratic and inclusive society.
