AkvaCirkulär - Aquatic Circular Systems for Sustainable Food Production

The AkvaCirkulär project focuses on research and development of a recirculating aquaculture system for farming marine fish in cold-water environments. In this system, the water is purified through a series of filtration steps and continuously recirculated, preventing the leakage of nutrients into the marine environment. At the same time, water quality and the fish's living conditions can be carefully controlled, ensuring high standards of animal welfare and producing seafood of exceptional quality.
