Chinese: Master Thesis
About
As part of this course, you will write a Master’s thesis in the field of Chinese studies (Sinology), with the aim of developing your critical thinking and familiarity with academic methodology. The thesis is written in Swedish or English and addresses a topic chosen in consultation with your supervisor, based on research questions discussed with them.
Prerequisites and selection
Entry requirements
For admission to the course a Bachelor?s degree is required, as well as a passing grade in Advanced Course III, Part 2 in Chinese (independent project), worth 15 credits or equivalent, and a passed independent project of 15 credits (one-year Master?s thesis in Chinese) at the second-cycle level.
Selection
Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 285 credits
