Short description

The overall aim of the research project is to increase the knowledge of how the governance of person-centred care is designed, conducted, and facilitated. The project focuses particularly on how the national and regional governments facilitate person-centred care by creating the conditions necessary for its implementation. The project is carried out through two sub-studies; the first investigates the governance of person-centred care at the national level, and the second investigates governance at the regional level. In addition to these sub-studies, an international outlook is also included, whereby the design and implementation of person-centred care policies are studied in a selection of countries.
