Welcome to the Department of Dermatology and Venereology

About us

We have a broad national and international collaboration and we want to expand with researchers in medicine, chemistry, physics, epidemiology and genetics. Our goal is to build on our tradition of innovative translational research which is the key to groundbreaking clinical research.

Research

This area has today three main research directions that we want to strengthen; skin cancer, inflammation and genodermatoses (hereditary skin diseases).

Education

The number of students doing their degree projects with us is steadily increasing, and we support the pedagogical development of our teachers to meet the increased demands within all ongoing digitalization projects that we have initiated in recent years. The vision is that students in the future will receive an even higher quality theoretical and practical education in dermatology and venereology.
