About Karin Linderoth

Karin is a designer and artist with a special interest in social artistic practice, graphic design and publication. She graduated from HDK with a MFA in Design 2012 and has worked since as a freelance graphic designer within the field of art and in the artistic leadership of Ställbergs gruva, a place for transdisciplinary artistic and social practice in Bergslagen, Sweden. In collaboration with colleagues from various artistic fields she has developed a practice with focus on social situations, collective experiences and curatorial work, looking for ways to process social, political and existential issues and challenges of our times through a local context. She also runs a small scale publishing practice.

Karin aims to support and develop methods for artistic design practice in dialogue with sites and people in local rural and urban contexts. She is happy to support and tutor student projects of various formats, scales and materials.
