About Annika Hofstedt
My research primarily focuses on gaming disorder and gambling disorder from a clinical perspective. In particular, I am interested in questions such as: What characterises individuals who seek treatment for these conditions? How are these problems maintained over time? Which treatment interventions are effective?
Alongside my research, I serve as Head of Unit at the Mottagning för spelberoende och skärmhälsa at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, an outpatient clinic providing specialised treatment for gaming disorder and gambling disorder.
