About

The course is compulsory within the two-year Master’s Program in Mathematical Sciences, and also open for eligible students outside the program. The course will present a historical and a philosophical perspective on mathematics. It will not be a straightforward historical course, although history will be a useful way of organizing the material. In addition to the lectures there will be oral presentations in English by students on material related to the lectures.
