Linguistics second semester
About
The continuation course in linguistics involves an in-depth study of the subject of linguistics and builds on the introduction provided during the first semester. The course provides more in-depth knowledge of the study of language, and enables a nuanced understanding of human language as a system of communication.
Courses included in the continuation course comprise semantics, pragmatics, linguistic methodology, and syntax. These courses further develop the study of linguistic theories and approaches, with a focus on language use, formalizations, and the relation between them.
