Prerequisites and selection
Entry requirements
Admission to the course requires a Bachelor's degree with Archaeology as the main field of study and 30 credits of completed second-cycle course requirements in the same main field of study. The second-cycle course requirements shall include the course (or courses with equivalent content): AE 2071, Archaeological Theory and Method in the Archaeological Text (15hp). The remaining space to reach a total of 30 credits at the second-cycle level in Archaeology is freely chosen by the student.
Admission to the course is also granted with a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Heritage, including basic and advanced courses in the main field of Archaeology (60 credits) with equivalent course requirements at advanced level.
Selection
Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 165 credits.
