The Nordic Gender Fund is accepting applications for infrastructure support within a broad interdisciplinary field. The aim is to strengthen infrastructure for research in the Nordic region on norms, perceptions and structures that reproduce and maintain inequalities based on, for example, gender, race/ethnicity, sexuality, class and age.
Who can apply for funding?
Doctoral students or researchers with a PhD who are affiliated with an educational institution in one of the Nordic countries or in the three autonomous regions of the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland are eligible to apply.
Support is provided for activities to start up or strengthen:
- the organisation of scientific conferences
- scientific journals
- scientific networks
A total of SEK 500 000 SEK in funding will be distributed this year. The call for applications is open between 1 October and 5 November 2025 at 15:00 CET.
