Major VR-Grants In Clinical Therapy Research
Two projects at The Wallenberg Centre for Molecular and Translational Medicine (WCMTM) receive funding from the Swedish Research Council for clinical therapy research. The studies receiving support should have a clear connection to the needs of healthcare and demonstrate patient and societal benefits within five years after the end of the projects.
Anders Rosengren receives nearly SEK 19 million during the period 2024-2027 for his research on type 2 diabetes and the evaluation of long-term preventive measures through lifestyle changes. Anders is a professor of physiology at the Department of Neuroscience and Physiology.
