Centre for European Research (CERGU)

The Centre for European Research at the University of Gothenburg (CERGU) aims to promote multidisciplinary research on Europe and serve as a knowledge hub stimulating multidisciplinary and policy-relevant debate on European challenges. CERGU is financed by three different faculties: The School of Business, Economics and Law, The Faculty of Humanities, and The Faculty of Social Sciences.

We are now looking for ways to expand the CERGU network through our three faculties and therefore want to invite junior researchers at GU to a half-day conference dedicated to the topic of multidisciplinary European Studies. Is this or could it be a research field and what does or should that entail, today and in the future? The day will feature talks and a panel of CERGU members on this subject, as well as opportunities for participants to present their ongoing research and network with new acquaintances from other faculties.

If you are a junior researcher (a doctoral student or in the postdoctoral phase) and interested in European questions and challenges, join us on November 3! Please register your interest in attending through the link.
