Christian Møller Dahl New Malmsten Visiting Professor

Christian Møller Dahl is Professor of Economics at the Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark where he leads the interdisciplinary research unit "Big Data Analytics and Digitization." 

His research spans theoretical statistics, causal inference, and deep learning. His current work focuses on developing robust AI and machine learning methods for transcribing, curating, and linking individuals across large collections of historical documents — unlocking vast new datasets for social science research. 

Christian has a longstanding collaboration with researchers at the department, including through the ATLASS project.

During his visit, he will collaborate with faculty members and contribute to the department's research activities and seminar program.
