Advancing our research through collaboration
We facilitate and contribute to research within the university, with different departments and between faculties. We partner with sports clubs and federations, the industry and public actors to finance small defined test projects and larger perennial projects that include co-financing of PhDs, utilizing the Test Center and our different competencies.

Collaboration with Elten
A perfect safety shoe for the workplace
The German safety shoe company Elten is one of our long-lasting research partners. For more than 23 years, we do support Elten in their ambition to develop and produce functionally perfect safety shoes.
Our joint projects have been conducted in both our lab and with field tests with end-users addressing for example fitting of shoes (Ergo-active), the soles' grip (Safety grip), and recently a project to classify workplace activities and loading with the support of (safety) shoe-based sensors (Smartastic).

Collaboration with GoCo Health Innovation Arena
Facilitating knowledge transfer
Through our close connection to Sahlgrenska Faculty, CHP has been directly involved in the development of GoCo Health Innovation Arena, especially for the new platform for cooperation around Health, Sport and Training.
During one week in September, a series of seminars addressed Physical activity and covid-19, the challenges of measuring Physical Activity and performance, and how to create long-lasting partnerships between Academia and the Industry.
