Short description

The project ”The role of liner shipping for robust supply chains” adds to the findings of how a labour market conflict in the container port in Gothenburg interrupted supply chains 2017-19 by including experience from the Covid-19 pandemic during 2020. The focus is on intra-European liner shipping and particularly on RoRo and RoPax shipping serving Sweden. The purpose is to learn from and model how to limit effects of future disturbances of various character by mapping and analysing how shipping and the supply chains it serves has been affected, as well as what counter-measures different actors have taken to mitigate the crisis.
