Mina huvudsakliga forskningsintressen är koncentrerade på lösningen av koefficienta inversa problem (CIPs) PDE genom användandet av ett adaptivt finit element och på globala konvergenta numeriska metoder för CIPs. Den adaptiva finita elementmetoden för hyperboliska CIPs utvecklades i min doktorsuppsats 2003 och den globala konvergentmetoden utbecklades tillsammans med professor M. V. Klibanov från University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA 2008. År 2011 verifierades den globala konvergentmetoden genom blinda experimentdata från fältet samlade av Forward Looking Radar, US Army Research Laboratory.
