About us

The University of Gothenburg’s shared life science research infrastructures are brought together within Core Facilities at the Sahlgrenska Academy. We provide access to cutting-edge technologies, powerful analytical tools, and expert support for research in medicine, biomedicine, clinical studies, and the natural sciences. We also organize courses, workshops, and seminars, and actively participate in research networks both in Sweden and internationally. Most of our facilities are located at Medicinareberget in Gothenburg, with the exception of OligaNova Hub, which is co-located with BioVentureHub in Mölndal.
