Portfolio

Note: The following information concerns students starting autumn 2024.

You must submit:

  • A proposal (4000–6000 characters) of a project idea that you plan to develop in your independent work. Within this frame you explore one or several perspectives that are closely connected to your own artistic practice. Present your project idea by a short description of what you would like to explore, why you are focusing on this topic, and ideas on how to realize your project.
The development of your independent work is an ongoing open process with one or several different perspectives, involving critical reflections on your artistic practice. Bring these perspectives into your presentation.

The description should also contain thoughts on theories and methods that may be relevant, as well as reflections on your work from an interdisciplinary perspective, with connections to other art forms or science. You are also invited to relate your idea to a larger context of the surrounding world and processes in society. Bring up possible references in the project: What have others done in the same or adjacent areas?

  • At least three (3) compositions/sound art works/installations/performances, notated and/or recorded, which are updated and represent you and your music. Maximal file size for audio is 60 MB, videos 500 MB.
  • A list of your previous artistic works.
  • A curriculum vitae.

Send in all of your material through SlideRoom. You create a new account in SlideRoom yourself with your e-mail address and password of your choice.
