Short description

The research project addresses national and international questions on Media and Information Literacy and more specifically an alternative use of film pedagogy in challenging the conception of film mainly connected to the practice of storytelling.

This research project builds on experiences of working with film pedagogy where the camera is a research tool. The camera is used to explore issues in contemporary society and is related to contextual responsibilities regarding film pedagogy and its connection to social change in order to promote democratic rights.

The research contributes to knowledge on educational practices both to in film education and teacher training.
