Implementation of delivery robots in smart villages

The purpose of the project is to establish a mobility solution in full-scale operation within a community, in close collaboration with users. In an initial phase, work is carried out together with users and remotely operated deliveries with human supervision are implemented in order to study behaviors and usage patterns. This is followed by further research and a transition to fully autonomous operation, subject to approval by the Municipality of Lund and the Swedish Transport Agency. Business models and policy proposals that enable scaling and replication of autonomous deliveries from a commercial perspective are developed within the framework of the project.
