What's New in 2026?
We’ve added exciting new sources:
Agri-environmental policies from 1960 to 2022 (Wuepper et al., 2023) - presents 6,124 agri-environmental policies implemented between 1960 and 2022 in about 200 countries.
• The Berggruen Governance Index (Anheier et al., 2024) - The BGI analyzes the relationship between democratic accountability, state capacity and the provision of public goods.
• Global Chinese Development Finance Dataset (AidData, 2023) - captures 20,985 projects across 165 low- and middle-income countries supported by loans and grants from official sector institutions in China worth $1.34 trillion.
• The Global Tax Expenditures Transparency Index (Tax Expenditures Lab, 2025) - the first comparative assessment of tax expenditures (TEs) reporting that covers countries worldwide.
