Nordic Gender Equality Fund
The Nordic Gender Equality Fund finances collaborations that promote gender equality. Through the Fund, the Nordic Council of Ministers issues an annual call for proposals for funding projects in which at least three organisations, from at least three Nordic countries, collaborate.
The aims of the projects can be to contribute new knowledge, a sharing of experiences or Nordic networks.
NIKK, Nordic Information on Gender, administers the Fund on behalf of the Nordic Council of Ministers, including calls for proposals, assessment of proposals, and monitoring of results. NIKK is a cooperation body under the Council of Ministers, placed at the Swedish Secretariat for Gender Research.
