This September, Core Facilities and specifically the Center for Cellular Imaging hosted COMULIS 2021. The conference was held digitally and designed to bring experts, researchers and facility staff together from different imaging modalities from across Europe and the world.

The program offered lectures and poster sessions, from electron and light microscopy and X-ray, to MRI/PET scans, and image analysis.

Julia Fernandez Rodriguez, who is manager at CCI, and also Chair of the COMULIS 2021 conference, was satisfied with the outcome of this year’s event.

“It was a successful and very productive event with delegates from all over the world,” Julia said.

The Correlated Multimodal Imaging in Life Sciences (COMULIS), who arranges the conference, is an EU-funded COST Action with members from 36 European countries. The conference aims to stimulate knowledge exchange and the formation of new collaborations.
