Now is the time to apply for GU-led research trips and courses on RV Skagerak in 2025 and 2026! If you wish to receive the subsidised daily rate for 2025 or 2026, you must submit a complete application by 27 September.

In the document below you can find information and how to apply for the subsidised day-rate for research at the University of Gothenburg. 

Important information to note:

  • The subsidised day-rate for GU-led research will be set at 35 000 SEK per day for 2025, 2026 and 2027, but the number of days that we can support at that rate may vary between the years. Note that this rate is for day operations only and within near-coastal waters only. For information on how your planned operations will impact the cost of your voyage, please see the planning guidelines attached.

  • If you want to receive the subsidised day rate for 2025 or 2026, you must submit a full application now. For those who are waiting for funding decisions, you must still apply for ship-time now, but indicate in your application that funding is not yet secure (there is a section for this in the application).
  • Deadline for applications is the 27 September 2024
