About Anna Spyrou
Anna Spyrou has served as the GNC's Communication Officer since January 2018 and previously worked as GNC's Research Coordinator beginning in 2011. She moved from the United Kingdom to Sweden in December 2010. She has a bachelor’s degree in modern foreign languages from the University of Kent at Canterbury in the UK. She speaks French, German, Italian, English and Swedish.
After graduating in 2002, Anna began her professional career as a European Sea Freight Clerk at one of the UK's leading logistics companies, Harbour Shipping. Some years later she was the European Sales Manager for P&B Metal Components.
Prior to moving to Sweden, Anna has previously worked as a Sales and Logistics Manager at one of the UK’s largest soft fruit propagators Edward Vinson Plants Limited. She has also been in charge of printed and digital advertising, business development and search engine optimisation at what is now a leading London-based digital agency Deeson.

Event management
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all GNC events. This includes full project responsibility: marketing, campaign planning, materials, sponsorships, and budgeting.
