The department has responsibility for several education programmes at first cycle level: Food Service Management, Health Promotion (two specializations) and Sports Coaching.
The department is also responsible for two subjects within the teacher education programmes: Home & Consumer Studies and Physical Education & Health.
We also offer a variety of single subject courses within Food and Nutrition and Sport Science. Food and Nutrition describes people's experience of food from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Sport Science is about exercise and other physical activity to promote health, and about performance development within competitive sport.
