Students on the Music Teacher Program choose between four musical specialisations for their main instrument and ensemble playing: classical, pop/rock, improvisation or broad-genre.

The ‘Broad Genre’ specialisation is aimed at students who wish to explore more than a single musical genre. During their studies, they have the opportunity to engage with several of the genres represented at the Academy of Music and Drama, such as pop and rock, improvisation, contemporary traditions in music and Western art music based on written notation.
